Candace Alexander, M.Ed, CHES, CHt, IC , joins American Lung Association of Arizona with 18 years experience in the corporate arena and 15 years in non-profit health education, where she spent 10 ½ years with American Heart Association in metro- and affiliate-level positions. In her role as Director of Health Initiatives, she developed and implemented many new training initiatives to empower people with chronic health issues and was also responsible for developing numerous strategic partnerships. As a health educator, Candace is constantly seeking creative ways to foster dynamic learning experiences and to promote high quality patient education and continuous improvement for health professionals, patients and their caregivers. Candace recently moved to the Phoenix area from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is excited to be serving as COPD/Coalition Manager for Northern Arizona.
